The Generac 28kW Home Standby Generator is designed to provide reliable backup power for your home during unexpected outages. With a powerful air-cooled engine, automatic operation, and a 200-amp automatic transfer switch, it helps keep essential household systems and appliances running when utility power is interrupted.

Powered by Generac’s G-Force 1000 engine, this generator delivers up to 28,000 watts on liquid propane and 25,000 watts on natural gas. Its dual-fuel capability provides flexibility based on your home’s available fuel supply. Electronic fuel and ignition control helps improve fuel efficiency and manage engine performance.

The automatic transfer switch detects a power outage and signals the generator to start. Once utility power returns, the system automatically switches your home back to utility power. Built-in cellular connectivity, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, supports remote monitoring through Generac’s Mobile Link system. The durable aluminum enclosure is designed for outdoor installation, while its sloped roof and rear air intake help reduce the risk of snow and ice entering the unit.
